There is just something about the time of year when the weather starts cooling off that puts me in a cheerful mood. Autumn brings so many wonderful things along with it. Some of those things include pumpkin spice lattes, warm sweaters, and fires in the fire place. The thing that comes along with fall that is my very favorite is the fact that the leaves begin changing color. There is nothing prettier than taking a Sunday drive looking at all of the leaves brightly hued in oranges, reds, and yellows. A great place to do this is in Asheville, North Carolina. In the Appalachian mountains of North Carolina is where you will find the beautiful town of Asheville.
One of the best attractions in Asheville to see in the fall is the Biltmore Estate. This 125,000 acre estate sits nestled in the mountains and is surrounding by glorious gardens, a winery, and some of the most breathtaking scenes that you can possibly imagine. In the fall when you look out over the home’s balcony you can witness all of the leaves in the mountains changing colors, and it is a sight that you will remember for the rest of your life.
To get into the spirit, I have posted a video of Biltmore in the fall. Have a glimpse of it for yourself. This is a treasure that you might not want to miss out on.
